Team WCI at Cherrywood invent The World of Animals Board Game
World Changing Ideas (WCI) team from Cherrywood School invented World of Animals - an exciting new board game for the ROAR 2021 Competition staged by Lions Clubs around the country. The game challenges children to reach the end of the game with their chosen endangered animal before the poachers catch them. A game to highlight the continuing problem of poaching across the world, with profits going to poaching charities. As part of their campaign they produced a poster, wrote a presentation and made a working model of their product to present before a local panel of School Governors, Staff and Lions Club members. They were highly commended as runners up in the local competition.
