Farnborough Lions Club has been working within the local area for over 40 years helping good causes and those less fortunate within our community, across the south of England and worldwide. Some of these activities are:

A £2,000 donation to the Frimley Park Hospital Stroke Appeal. Click Here for more information.

Promoting the life saving Message In A Bottle scheme at local events such as the Cancer Health and Wellbeing Day.

Providing practical help and financial assistance  to schools, local voluntary organisations and individuals. We regularly provide hands on help to the Henry Tyndale Special Needs School in Farnborough for their fund raising events and parent evenings. We have also provided financial help to the Oak Farm Charity Pre-School to enable them to fence off a safe outside area for their children's activity centre. We also help local families in need at the request of care professionals such school families support workers.

Being members of a the largest voluntary organisation in the world with 1.4 million members of Lions Clubs in over 200 countries around the globe we frequently work together with other Lions Clubs collaborating together to make life better for those in need. An ideal example is the Lions Funfest held each year to give people with disabilities, their families and carers a special day of fun which they can all actively participate in. Click here for further details.

If you would like to take part in some of these activities and give something back to the community while really enjoying yourself and making new friends contact Farnborough Lions Club through the details on the adjoining poster or click here to request further details by email.
