4 Waters Walk Sunday 17th July to Friday 30th September 2011
To raise money for Lions charities this year's summer event will be a 5 mile walk starting at the Basingstoke Canal at Winchfield. The walk follows the canal almost as far as Odiham, then passes through the grounds of the Four Seasons Hotel, passing Dogmersfield Lake and Tundry Pond in the process, before returning to Winchfield.
You will be able to do this walk at any time between Sunday 17th July 2011, and Friday 30th September 2011. Simply post in your completed Treasure Hunt form during that period, to be
In addition, for those who wish to participate, there will be a Treasure Hunt covering the whole 5 miles. There will be a prize of Half A Case Of Wine for the highest scorer.
For those that wish to lunch, they will receive a warm welcome at The Barley Mow, Winchfield, right by the Start/Finish. However, Sunday Lunches are frequently booked up two weeks in advance, so you will need to book ahead if you want to be sure of an indoor table. (NB: The Barley Mow menu will be changing in April 2011).
